It could be made with extra firm tofu It really needs the cheese inside though...
I can accept vegetarian. Cheese is one of the best things on the planet.
Do you have a food blog or anything? Your food + photos always look great.
Thank you! I do not, but I guess I should consider it... I see how much work some of my favorite food bloggers go to though, and I'm not sure I'm willing
Everyone keeps talking about soup. So I made some Creamy Broccoli and Potato soup to go with the biscuits I made this morning.
cc @Jaded for biscuit action.
That looks awesome!! Cheddar biscuits?
* Jaded walks to your house.
Not this time. I do love Cheddar Herb biscuits tho! I wanted to have them for eggs sandwiches, jam or soup so kept them plain. Still amazing! I don't make them enough.
I hate looking at this thread cause y'all's food always looks fancy and mine looks like mooshy vomit. (Although it does usually taste good.)
also everyone please cook me food.
I usually eat it and forget to take pics. And I will cook for you anytime.
aww yess (and those biscuits look really good. so does the soup.)
made a big fat salad - slightly modified from here:
AND it makes a ton and keeps in the fridge so we're going to have it again for dinner with some crispy tofu cubes. It would also be really good with shrimp!
Can you bring me this please?
if you pay for my airplane ticket
Mmm that looks awesome! Going to make black bean and sweet potato tacos later.
I love those!! I used this recipe from hellofresh twice this month already
That looks good too! I just cook the beans with tomatoes, onions and taco seasoning. I roast the sweet potatoes and eat them on salads as well. Such a great combo!
@Pelco, is this the thread you were talking about?
Banana Muffins. Since Sis ate all (most) of the banana bread I made this weekend. My favorite recipe is this one for bread and muffins: http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-banana-bread-the-simplest-easiest-recipe-139900
I get 20-24 muffins out of the recipe (not the 8-10 it claims). Cook the muffins for 20 mins and check. Mine usually take 22-24 mins. They are very cake like and surprisingly light. Cut back on the sugar if desired (I use 3/4 cup dark brown sugar). I use cinnamon instead of vanilla too because I prefer it. You really can't mess these up! Good also with Walnuts and/or Chocolate Chips.
cc @ducky @basketcasey My Banana Buds.
Took almost no thanksgiving food photos because I was busy, but the really important meal was turkey ramen today
Spoiler: giant photos + giant mess kitchen
