The residential suites of the compound will all be on the second floor. The first floor is reserved for shenanigans.

It's really amazing how the best victories in the careers of some of these fringe top ten tennis players is a quarter final at a grand slam. The real top players are so much better than they are.

Same thing in Smash Bros. Melee. I guess basketball, too, to the extent the comparison holds in a team sport (i.e., every championship except the Pistons in 2004 went to a team with a player who had already won an MVP, back to the first Bird Celtics championship which barely counts as not having an MVP).

yeah some decent (overall) tennis players never make quarters or semi’s at grand slams. they make their living playing 250 level events (for men). and the equal over on the women’s side in terms of tournaments.

and then you have the challenger players who hardly ever even crack a 250 event. those are the players that are probably breaking even money wise at best. most of the grand prize money for winning a challenger event is literally only $10 grand or so. losing in the first round at a grand slam nets a player anywhere from $100k-300k. so some of these smaller type players.... making these grand slams and even bailing in the first round sets them up for the rest of their year.

it does show you, like you said, how good the Federers, Nadals and Jokers of the world are. Since they consistently make it deep into slams

Made a bet on one of the women's semi-finals this morning at Wimbledon and lost. pretty convincingly

there's hardly ever any in between with me and betting. when i'm hot... i am hot

but when I'm cold... I'm ice cold. I almost picked Kerber to win in straights too,
but decided to go with Ostapenko SU since the odds were pretty short and she's been in great form.

    meh

Women's tennis is too chaotic and borderline unwatchable.

It's ridiculous. One of my books even stopped offering live women's tennis betting

Predicting them before the start is even more difficult.

Sometimes you can find more favorable sports in live betting, but eh

    Even Federer yesterday...

Up 2 sets. Had MATCH POINT up 2 sets... and lost

he was like 265-2 when he won the first two sets at majors

    gambling...

I think the scroll wheel on my G403 is going to fail again. Maybe they're just shitty. Guess I'll switch back to the DeathAdder after two of these failed, even though I like the shape of this more.

serena is usually a decent bet tennis wise (she seems to be coming back in form finally after the baby)

a little juicy on the ML at like -340ish (i forget what the exact ML was)

i think the games spread was -4.5 for her. and she covered that too
