    LOL, again, restarting some IF.

    I lost 5lbs from sheer stress and physical activity last week

    My friend meal prepped all of the vegetables and grains and beans for me for my lunches and dinners this week

    and i'm fasting til 12.

    I got this, right.

    I have 10 pounds to lose. I look okay, but I've been carrying this 10 pounds around for several months. I hate it.
    Not eating today. I'm going to eat tomorrow.
    It's 4pm. The forum is being hit with drama. And I'm miserable (grouchy).

    hey that's awesome jan! congrats ^^


    i ate lots of junk while in texas, gained 10 pounds, and now i'm back doing keto and IF.
    i can be way more strict since school is back in session as of today (woot!)

    wake up 6:40 am
    zero calorie/zero carb drinks only until 6pm.
    dinner at 6 and then another meal before bed around 11.

    i'm also joining a dietbet to make some money off my weight loss. (and keep me on track)
    this one starts on sept 1 if anyone's interested. it's only 10 bucks, and the site is legit.

    I have gained 3 lbs.

    I did good with IF last week,

    yesterday fine.

    Today I HAD to get coffee. Tripped over a doughnut as well, goddamnit.

    @Cara@Cara your form of IF it is intense, I would definitely die. I do physical labor 7am/5pm and need fuel. I only fast 8pm>12pm.
    godspeed girl, godspeed.

    I really want to lose 15lbs. I need a stricter goal though, like a timeline. Need to stop drinking, even on the weekends. Or cut back the habit just to 1-2 shots of liqour on a friday night instead of light beers. Less eating and drinking, more dancing.

    i can go alllll day without eating.
    but once i eat, i cram all the things in my mouth hole for the rest of the day. if i was active, i don't think i could do it.
    but focusing on work from 7am to 3pm helps.

    I do enjoy eating less often but more at once. definitely more satisfying.

    whenever i see super restrictive diets I wonder how people function but I guess a lot of people don't have to be as active as me throughout the day.

    if i was eating a standard american diet, i don't think i could do it!! the only reason i can is cuz of the appetite suppressing qualities from being in ketosis. so it's totally cheating haha.

    that's why when I fast, I eat nothing all day (I fast for 24 hours). I do have coffee - and when I feel like it.....hot chocolate (though it's too hot for that!). As long as I'm drinking something, I'm 'not eating' - so it's all good.
    Once I eat.....I'm back to eating (not fasting).

    I was skinny for years (and, honestly, I'm never really heavy - rn I weigh 135 -so I'm average). But I love feeling thin. I feel close to that, now. But I have a little ways to go, yet ;)

    I'm reading more about keto but I am scared. I have gallbladder issues. but I keep reading stuff about it not being that bad. idk. calorie counting doesn't often work for me, and i'm trying it again right now. nothing, at all, has worked for me in the three years since i've started this job.

    That's the thing I've noticed with any diet. Keto it bad for you, keto is good for you. Calorie counting is bad for you, calorie counting is good for you. I'm sure there's someone out there who argues that eating healthy is bad for you too. I liked keto when I messed with it, but once I discovered I had the dedication for basic calorie counting I jumped ship to eating "regular" stuff ASAP. It was very manageable for me though. From what I understand, a calorie limit isn't really a thing with keto?

    i can tell you the eating healthy is bad for you studies - restrictive diets cause bacterial imbalances in your stomach lol. Eat a little bit of all the things is really the BEST "diet" out there but I have a hard time with self control.

    it is and it isn't. the research I did today still said I would eat about 1500 calories, but mostly fat instead of more balanced carb/fat/protein 1500 calories.

    Started IF yesterday, have done it before but not for a long period of time. No special diet at all, just 1pm-8pm eating window.

    Does anyone do IF where they eat breakfast and lunch and not dinner?

    it is still cico. you can't eat 5000 cals a day and still lose weight, even in ketosis. but the focus is on macros and not just calories.
    it is easier to eat less calories on keto because when you're fat adapted, you don't have much of an appetite (and that's why fasting is so nice!)

    Do whichever one you need. It doesn't matter. I love dinner. It's comforting.

    tbh, fasting alone has adjust my appetite. once i got through a week i'm not hungry all the time and i'm eating pretty high carb vegetarian.

    i wish i could! but i hate going to bed hungry.


    i am sick of salt water so i put salt in my tea.. it's not awful but i wouldn't recommend it.

    It wasn't the last time, and it wasn't really hard yesterday... but my brain feels fuzzy AF. AND I can't drink coffee without milk b/c my dentist will murder me. Sticking with it is the hard part. I can do just about any diet at all for a month or so but then... meh I really like food :(
