I can't keep up with new TV, but keeping it on the same continent, Monty Python Meaning of Life and Life of Brian are on Netflix now, along with four seasons of the tv show.

The only way I can keep up is, in spurts and, I don't watch old stuff when new stuff is available. Anyway, Michaela Coel is captivating in it. Her bio photo does her no justice. Strikingly beautiful, imo, especially with the new hairdo. And definitely a great actor, regardless of her look. She has a long career ahead of her.

The whole show is shot really well too! High production value. Not that it's a requirement for a good show but, sometimes it helps. Feels more like a movie than tv.

Did you do a month or a year? If you like it, and only did a month, you can get $20 off a year with ibotta. Let me know if you need a referral, if you don't already use it.:)

They will but the year is discounted, if you do it all at once. Then with the cashback from ibotta, it's as close to student price as most of us can get.:) Yeah, let me know. You know where to find me.

Speaking of discounts... I don't promote smoking/vaping but, I just got 10 'MyBlu' Ecig(pod style) starter kits for a dollar a piece(normally $19.99) at the store across from my house. They ordered them by accident. I think they're handy for emergencies. Anyway, I'm thinking I'm going to sell them for $5 and quintuple my money.:D

EDIT Also, I'm going to start turking in a minute. I promise.:p

Good morning, Sondi. How did the kid fare yesterday? Feeling better or worse by bedtime?

Lots better! And when I called the school they said that ragweed had been terrible for the past few days so I think that's a good explanation since he never had a fever.... he had been to the playground for an hour the day before and after that he was gag-coughing so much he couldn't sleep.

I never even considered allergies because I didn't have them as a kid, but it made so much sense after the school lady mentioned it

feels like a days-long detective investigation :pompus:

edit: also thank you for asking! I appreciate courtesies and I forgot to say so

Well, Nancy Drew, I'm glad you found the culprit. Good side benefit: if he ends up needing Benadryl(diphenhydramine) occasionally, he'll get more sleep and you'll get more mom time.:) Anyway, happy he's feeling fine.

EDIT Also, asthma can go hand in hand with allergies. So, may be worth a mention next time at the doctor.

Thanks! My plan is to mention it to his dr. office at their flu shot clinic week after next and see what they want to do. My husband has allergies so I should have seen it coming I guess!
